Fashion Law Week

Fashion Law Week (FLW) is an annual educational legal symposium dedicated to engaging students and the community in the discussion surrounding legal issues within the industry.  Over the last decade, Law has emerged as a more respected and relevant field of law.From the advent of several Federal legislative attempts to extend copyright-like protection to designs, to the detrimental global economic effects of counterfeiting, the legal issues within the industry have undoubtedly affected many of us. Law Week wants to continue the movement to educate designers, students, practitioners, aficianados, academia, and the community about the legal issues within the industry.
